Lodging

WMHSMUN has contracted for a block of rooms at the Woodlands Hotel & Suites, a hotel close to the William & Mary campus.

The Woodlands: 105 Visitor Center Dr, Williamsburg, VA 23185

Room reservations include complimentary concessions such as a daily continental breakfast in the main lobby, complimentary self-parking, and complimentary use of the fitness center and outdoor pool. Room rates are $179/night for a room with two double beds, and each room can comfortably fit up to 4 delegates. The WMHSMUN block will officially run from Friday-Sunday, but schools can work directly with the Woodlands if their timeline is slightly different.

More information, including how to make reservations and the terms of reserving rooms, will be sent to sponsors alongside the confirmation of registration.

Transportation

WMHSMUN will also run shuttle buses between the W&M campus (the Sadler Center) and the Woodlands all weekend long; delegations are more than welcome to stay at other hotels in the area but must coordinate all lodging and transportation details if they opt to stay elsewhere. More information regarding transportation and our own shuttle schedule will be posted on the website later this year.

As the Woodlands is a Colonial Williamsburg Foundation hotel, the CWF also runs a shuttle bus throughout the Williamsburg area that reaches campus. The bus stop is a 2-minute walk from the Woodlands (directly next to the Visitor’s Center), and shuttles reach each stop every 15 minutes between 9am-10pm. Read more about the CW Shuttle here!

Food: WMHSLUNCH

As part of our charity initiatives, food will be available for purchase on Friday evening, all to benefit a charity selected by the IRC@W&M. More information about our charitable work will be posted soon!

We are also particularly excited to announce the beginning of WMHSLUNCH, a new lunch program that will allow all interested delegations to pre-order boxed lunches for their delegates. For an additional fee, delegates will be able to order boxed lunches, and all lunches will be organized for pickup before our lunch on Saturday, November 16. More information will be released to registered delegations in the coming weeks!
